Fundamentals of Sweden

Sweden is a country in Northern Europe, the largest and the most populous country in the Nordic region. It borders Norway to the west and north, Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest. The capital and the largest city is Stockholm. The current population of Sweden is about 10.3 million, with nearly about 2.4 million of them living in and around Stockholm. The highest concentration is in the central and southern parts of the country. Large parts of this country have a temperate climate, but the mountainous area in the north has a sub-Arctic climate.
Overall, Sweden is a great destination for international students. There are several different universities and colleges in Sweden, the oldest and largest of which are situated in Uppsala, Lund, Gothenburg, and Stockholm.
