Sweden is a country in northern Europe and the largest and most populous country in the Nordic region. It borders Norway to the west and north, Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest. The capital and largest city of Sweden is Stockholm. The current population of Sweden is about 10.42 million, with nearly 2.4 million of them living in and around Stockholm. The highest concentration of population is in the central and southern parts of the country. Larger parts of this country have a temperate climate, but the mountainous area in the north has a subarctic climate.
Sweden is a great destination for international students. There are several different universities and colleges, among which some are ranked the highest in the world; the oldest and largest of which are situated at Uppsala University, Lund University, Gothenburg University, and Stockholm University.
